Would anyone like or know who would like an 8month old black lab german shepard?
My place is too small for both dogs and Beeky is putting her foot down!

He's really sweet and lovable, he does have tons of energy, but he's in obedience classes right now which are helping his boundless energy.
Everything is up-to-date, we are just trying to find a home for him that is loveable and that has room for him to run!

I have quit smoking, we're looking at day two of me without cigaretts, and I'm finding it very hard to concentrate, maybe I shouldn't have decided to quit during the busiest month of the year, I have 3 papers due this month, looking for a part time job, piles and piles of reading, and need desperatly to find a part time job....
Is this all an excuse so I can go to the store and buy cigaretts again? Dunno, but I really am enjoying not smelling like cigaretts, and I actually feel cleaner...maybe that's all I needed.

When ordering lunch in a corporate setting the following is expected:
You and your co-worker decide to order out for lunch.
Of course you must inform your supervisor and the rest of the members of your immediate department. Then you must tell your friend who works in a different department and have to ask the rest of her department since it is only the polite thing to do.
Then you must ask your boss who in turn says yes and she asks her daughter who is the vice president and in charge of a different department so she asks her department. In the meantime the CEO of the company is walking by and wants to order as well and his daughter hears about it and orders as well as asking her co-worker if he wants to order.
Time for delivery: 2:00pm if done in this manner.

Other options, Mass email with a time limit as to when you will accept responses until making you feel like an assistant which you are not.

My favorite option...2 of you ordering and just taking the looks and the teasing from other co-workers...hey if they want lunch they can call themselves!

Yesterday I went snowboarding after work with busanna bodypainted  and the Muse.  We went to Highland as usual, and I am injured :(, but fear not my friends...fear not.  It was my first run of the night and it was all man-made snow.  As I went down I took a tumble and jammed my thumb.  I discovered that it is much easier for me to do toes then to do heels.  I had more control on my toes.  I told this to the muse and she said, "Well great!  You learned the hard one, now you'll do heels and say...this is it?"  So we discovered I had to do step 3 before I could do step one, I still kept going like a trooper though, combustafarian I figured out how to get up on my toes and turn around in a circle so I'm on my heels!  I was doing that all night long!!! whoot!!  busanna and the muse were doing figure 8's down the hill...in between tumbles the girls look sawheeet! and they are the best motivators ever!   bodypainted with his new found, in shapeness, picked it up immediatly and was lapping us on the hill!

I discovered it was time to stop when I could only go down the hill goofy-foot, which I discovered I prefer, but when I tried to lead with my right my knee wasn't cooperating.  So I finished the hill, told the girls it was time to rest the ol' knee and headed off to the shanty to wait.  In the shanty I discovered how bad my thumb really was.  As I took my gloves off I realized it hurt, as I took off my boots it hurt.  I forced a wiggle and discovered the wigglying was happening, so a very productive snowboarding day to a little injured thumb that I can't move at all in the morning? I may go to the doctor in the morning tomorrow, but we'll see.

Conversation between watterflower and I yesterday: W: You know, Val wants you to do mail next week while I'm gone. B: Screw that! I'm not in Client Services anymore, and I have enough of my own work to get done! If she brings this up I'm going to Pam, and my answer is no! The next day... Boss lady: Hey Becky, I'm going to need you to do all of the mail duties while Robin is away. B: Well, luckily, I am completely caught up so it shouldn't be a problem. Boss Lady: Oh great, you know I really appreciate it. B: You're welcome. Moments later I get an embroidered scarf from Val, in my favorite color....damnit! Just call me a sucka chump...
